Nature as therapy.

Connecting to nature has always been a therapeutic remedy for the stresses and strains of daily life. But until recently, it felt like a luxury for the very few with time on their hands and with ready access to the British countryside. For most of us, a mindful walk through the forest could rarely be prioritised over the more immediate demands of work, family engagements or simply getting the groceries in.

Since the pandemic struck the UK in 2020 however, we’ve been encouraged to reevaluate the way we spend our time, and reconsider the things that truly bring us joy. Being able to go out just once a day, or indeed not at all, meant many of us experienced a real pull to immerse our senses in as much of nature as possible.  More research began to focus on the therapeutic effects of everything outdoors, from the colour green to forest bathing, and exciting results demonstrated positive effects on our stress and anxiety levels.

Create a botanical at-home spa experience.

During this time, the beauty industry saw a major shift toward pampering products that aim to create an at-home spa experience. This is attributed both to the temporary closure of salons and spas, and our desire to create rituals of self-care that would help us feel our very best selves while staying at home. Inspired by the lasting impact of this shift, we wanted to create a range of products that provided accessible everyday pampering, and harnessed the rejuvenating power of nature we had all reconnected to. Our collection with the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, was the perfect place to start.

Body oils inspired by the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew.

First, we wanted a go-to product that would scent your body and your bathroom with fragrances redolent of a stroll through Kew Gardens, while giving your skin the nourished glow of a spa treatment. Our luscious body oil is enriched with apricot kernel and jojoba oils, for a formula that can be easily absorbed by the skin, while still ensuring a soothing, deeply hydrating experience. We recommend massaging onto warm, supple skin after a bath for an authentic at-home spa experience.

Kew Gardens Lemongrass and Lime Eau de Toilette

Eaux de toilette inspired by the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew.

Our luxury Eaux de toilette then work beautifully as both a finishing touch to your home spa treatment or as a foil for your low-maintenance ablutions on busy mornings. Spritz onto clean skin, or spray into the air and walk through a cloud of blissful botanical fragrance that will help you feel light and radiant all day. Both our Eaux de toilette and body oils are made in England, are cruelty-free and also free from parabens, SLS and SLES.

Eight divine fragrances to choose from.

The body oils and Eaux de toilette have been released in a capsule of eight divine fragrances, just in time for summer. This month we’re adoring the Jasmine and Peach body oil, just as these star-shaped flowers come into bloom and we’re tempted by the aromatic delights of ripening summer fruits. The scent has orange blossom at its heart and top notes of wild strawberry, which will appeal to those who love floral-fruity fragrances.
