The English Soap Company Sulphur soap bar is made in the UK with pure vegetable oils using traditional triple-milled methods. As triple-milled soap contains more soap than water, they produce a richer lather, are longer-lasting, and have a silkier, luxurious effect on the skin than standard soap bars.
We make every product ourselves in the heart of the Sussex countryside, using the finest quality ingredients. All our perfumes are made in England by expert perfumers and have been designed specifically for the English Soap Company.
This vegan soap bar is cruelty-free and free from parabens, SLS and SLES, and weighs a generous 190 grams. The beautifully illustrated soap bar wraps are fully recyclable with plastic-free packaging, making them ideal guilt-free gifts for friends and family.
How does soap work?
The purpose of washing is to remove the outer layer of oils and fats that harbour germs and rinse them away from the skin. Soap is a surfactant which means that when it is used on the hands and body the soap molecules bind water & oil molecules together. After cleansing with soap, rinsing away the lather takes the oil and germs with it. Read more about how soap works here.
