We have been perfecting the art of soap making for over 20 years. Every one of our products is lovingly made on our farm site in the heart of the Sussex countryside, England.

We take pride in ensuring that only the finest quality ingredients go into our soaps, giving our customers the experience of transforming the humble soap bar, into an item of luxury. All of our soaps including this Vintage Olive Oil Soap are enriched with shea butter and vegetable glycerine, allowing you to cleanse away the dirt of the day, whilst also caring for your skin.

The purpose of washing is to remove the outer layer of oils and fats that harbour germs and rinse them away from the skin. Soap is a surfactant which means that when used on the skin, the soap molecules bind water & oil molecules together. After cleansing with soap, rinsing away the lather takes the oil and germs with it, leaving your hands squeaky clean. You can read more about how soap works here.

With sustainability at the core of our family business, we are constantly striving to source recyclable materials to use for our products. Whether it is product packaging made from recycled plastics or recyclable plastics, opting for paper or card and even how we package our products for delivery.

Reducing waste, recycling and re-purposing materials carries high importance within our family business. Did you know we now use a cardboard shredder to make use of every little bit of cardboard that comes into our barns, which we use to keep all your lovely orders safe and secure.

Shea butter is a fat extracted from the nuts of the shea tree, native to West Africa. Shea butter has been used as a cosmetic ingredient for centuries. Its high concentration of vitamins and fatty acids make it an excellent product for smoothing, soothing and conditioning your skin.

Shea butter is highly moisturising due to its fatty acid content, including linoleic, oleic, stearic, and palmitic acids. It is an anti-inflammatory antioxidant and helps boost collagen production and cell regeneration, helping to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, stretch marks and scarring. Gently lather the Vintage Olive Oil Soap with warm water, massage into the skin and rinse off to leave your skin thoroughly cleansed. When not in use, keep the soap bar in a dry and cool area.

Avoid contact with eyes. If the product gets in the eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of warm water. Keep out of reach from children. For external use only.
