What’s inside this Wintertide Pamper Bundle we hear you ask?

Wintertide Soap:  A generously sized 190g bar that is long-lasting and enriched with moisturising shea butter and vegetable glycerine to nourish the skin.

Wintertide Hand Cream: A sumptuous cream with ingredients to keep your skin feeling soft and pampered.

Wintertide Soy Wax Candle: Get cosy with the soft flickering light of a soy wax candle. Lovingly hand-poured, our candles are generously scented with beautiful long-lasting fragrances. This 170ml single-wick candle has a burn time of approximately 35 hours.

With sustainability at the core of our family business, we are constantly striving to source recyclable materials to use for our products. Whether it is product packaging made from recycled plastics or recyclable plastics, opting for paper or card and even how we package our products for delivery.

Although we are not 100% there yet, reducing waste, recycling and re-purposing materials carries high importance within our family business. Did you know we now use a cardboard shredder to make use of every little bit of cardboard that comes into our barns, which we use to keep all your lovely orders safe and secure. Wintertide Hand Cream outer packaging is made using recyclable card and the aluminium tube is also recyclable. Please remove the cap before recycling. Check with your local recycling authority regarding recycling the screw cap.

Opting for a paper wrapped soap bar is certainly kinder to the planet. The Wintertide paper wraps are fully recyclable and printed locally to reduce our carbon footprint.

The Wintertide Scented Candle outer packaging is made using recyclable card and can be recycled using normal means. We advise removing the sticker label before recycling the glass jar (unless you want to reuse the jar of course).

Shea butter is a fat extracted from the nuts of the shea tree, native to West Africa. Shea butter has been used as a cosmetic ingredient for centuries. Its high concentration of vitamins and fatty acids makes it an excellent product for smoothing, soothing and conditioning your skin.

Shea butter is highly moisturising due to its fatty acid content, including linoleic, oleic, stearic, and palmitic acids. It is an anti-inflammatory antioxidant and helps boost collagen production and cell regeneration, helping to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, stretch marks and scarring. Aloe vera is a cactus-like plant with leaves that produce a gel rich in vitamins A, C, E, and B12. There are records of it being used as a therapeutic ingredient since 1750 BC.

Aloe vera is easily absorbed into the skin and helps to moisturise, soothe, and hydrate the skin. It has anti-inflammatory properties and supports the production of collagen. It also contains antioxidant properties, which can repair sun damage and slows down the skins ageing process.

In addition, there is research to show that aloe vera can increase flexibility and reduce the fragility of the skin.

Vitamin E is a well-known powerful antioxidant with great anti-ageing properties; it is an excellent free radical scavenger that protects skin cells from pollution, UV light, and elements that produce cell-damaging free radicals. Vitamin E in helps to cleanse and moisturise the skin while keeping it soft, supple and fresh.

An essential part of candle care is keeping your wick trimmed before each burn. We recommend trimming the wick of your Scented Candle down by a ¼ inch, including for the first time. This top tip will ensure an even burn prolonging your candle’s life and preventing any sooting on the jar.

The first burn is very important. Please allow the scented candle to burn until the wax melts all the way to the edge of the glass. This will help the candle to burn evenly and prevent tunnelling. For safety reasons please only burn your candle for 4 hours at a time.

Keep your candle wax clear from debris to ensure the wax pool stays clean.

To ensure the safe burning of the scented candle within the Wintertide Pamper Bundle, please observe the instructions given below:

• Never leave a burning candle unattended
• Burn candles out of reach of children and pets
• Always leave at least 10cm between burning candles
• Do not burn candles on or near anything that may catch fire
• Always use a candleholder
• Only light a candle if it is at room temperature
• Do not move a burning candle
• Do not place burning candles in a draft
• Do not place candles near a source of heat
• Place candles in an upright position
• Keep the wick trimmed to a ¼ inch before each burn
• Always snuff out the flame. Do not blow it out
• Keep the wax pool clear of debris to avoid flaring
• Never use a liquid to extinguish

Please follow our easy steps below, maximising your experience of the products within this Wintertide Pamper Bundle.

Soap: Gently lather with warm water, massage into the skin and rinse off to leave your skin thoroughly cleansed. When not in use, keep the soap bar in a dry and cool area.

Hand Cream: Gently massage into the skin until the cream has been fully absorbed.

Soap: Avoid contact with eyes; if soap gets in the eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of warm water. Keep out of reach from children. If skin irritation occurs, discontinue use. For external use only.

Hand Cream: Avoid contact with eyes. Do not use on irritated or broken skin. For external use only. Keep out of reach of children.
